Our Process
Programming
This phase is all about understanding our client’s and their home. We kick things off with a questionnaire and follow up with a meeting to review our findings and take measurements of the space.
Design Concept
In this phase we pull inspiration, based on the client’s feedback and style, as well as begin preliminary layouts for the space.
Design Development
We continue further into the design work by developing the inspirations into actual selections. Our connections with trade only showrooms allow us to source quality pieces that are not available to the general public. In addition, we design custom furniture and cabinetry, allowing the client to have unique, one of a kind pieces. Our ability to draft our creations insures the carpenters and furniture makers carry through the design intent.
Purchasing
Once selections are made, we provide purchasing services. This includes creating purchase orders, paying vendors, checking on the status of orders and assisting in any returns or refunds if necessary. This saves our clients the headache of keeping track of the many pieces and parts of design. Throughout the process we keep an open communication between the architect, contractor and client, to ensure the project runs smoothly and that the home’s design is cohesive.
Construction Observation
During this phase, your vision begins to come to life. Flooring, wallcovering, paint colors, appliances, woodwork, tile and surfaces are all put in their place. Our firm will help to coordinate the details with all relevant parties. We will visit the project to observe and to become familiar with the progress and quality of work as it relates to the interior design concept.
Installation
Installation, is where we bring in the furnishings and style the home. Our warehouse receives and inspects the items as they arrive and because we store the the furniture after inspection, we are able to give our clients the experience of having their home come together in one amazing moment.
Once you have had a chance to take it all in and enjoy your new space for a few days, we will do a final walkthrough with you. We will create a punch list of any small items that need to be taken care of. We will attend to any loose ends right away and leave you to enjoy your beautiful home with your family and friends for years to come!
